James Thompson Musselman was born in Ohio on March 9, 1854. Dr. Musselman married Mary E. Squire on January 31, 1884. 
Both husband and wife served on the library board. 

Dr. Musselman died on December 17, 1942, and rests in Edgar Cemetery.
